Slavica was born to the late Julije and Paula (Sokic) Tusic in Cernik, Croatia. In April of 1961, Vicki immigrated from Cernik, Croatia to Chicago, IL and resided there until moving to St. Cloud in March of 1999. Slavica is survived by her son, Tom (Rhonda) Durlanich of Chicago, IL and daughter, Veronica (Joe) Nessler of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Jason, Brian, and Joshua Durlanich and Joe and Michael Nessler. Slavica was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Nessler. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Angel Guardian Croatian Catholic Mission, Chicago for Slavica Durlanich, 84, who died Tuesday at the St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Ivika Majstorovic will officiate. Interment will be in St. Henry’s Cemetery, Chicago. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Arrangements are by Malec & Sons Funeral Home, Chicago.
