“FIND ME GUILTY” ***

11 p.m., STARZ

One of the oddest films of last year, director Sidney Lumet’s courtroom seriocomedy stars Vin Diesel as Jackie Dee DiNorscio, a real-life New Jersey wiseguy who defended himself in a legendarily lengthy federal court trial. It’s minor but worth seeing just for the way Lumet lays out the courtroom scenes visually, without a speck of false emphasis, and especially for the scene between Diesel and Annabella Sciorra, in which a lifetime of acrimony and lust and marital tension gets compressed into a few memorable minutes.

“ON THE WATERFRONT” ****

11:30 p.m., TCM

Marlon Brando’s performance as Terry Malloy, the ex-boxer turned informant against the waterfront union mob (led by Lee J. Cobb), is one of the most hailed in American cinema. It’s the beating heart of director Elia Kazan and writer Budd Schulberg’s Oscar-winning crime drama, one of the most well-loved of American movie dramas, and a movie that seems so real you can almost feel it against your skin. With Eva Marie Saint, Rod Steiger and Karl Malden.
