Autopsies performed Monday showed heat played a role in the deaths of two people from the South and West Sides of Chicago. Gregory Martin — believed to be in his 50s — of the 200 block of North Central Avenue and Leflora Nunley, 80, of the 5700 block of South Justine Street both died of heart disease with heat stress as a contributing factor, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
