A tow truck driver for the Department of Streets and Sanitation was carjacked Monday in Grant Park, authorities said. The suspected carjacker was caught by police shortly after he crashed the truck into a fire hydrant at 31st Street and Indiana Avenue. Streets and Sanitation spokesman Matt Smith said the tow truck driver wasn’t hurt. Police found the truck using its GPS, Smith said.
