* A story in Tuesday’s Metro section about the maiming of two Amur tiger cubs at Brookfield Zoo said an inspector from the U.S. Department of Agriculture was at the zoo Monday afternoon to investigate the incident. The inspector was not able to come Monday and rescheduled his visit for later in the week, zoo officials said.

* In some editions of Tuesday’s Metro section, a headline on the jump of a story about Illinois’ children’s health insurance problems referred to a lawsuit in which Illinois has joined with seven other states to challenge the federal government’s new rules. News about the lawsuit had been inadvertently cut from the story.
