Earl Raymond Trayes, age 61, of Wauconda, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in North Chicago.
He was born Aug. 2, 1946 in Chicago to George and Margaret, nee Tillma, Trayes Sr. Earl was a member of the American Legion Post 1170 in Round Lake Park.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Jane; his children, Denise Buchholtz of Elmwood Park, Debbie Trayes (Kevin) Pflugradt of Round Lake Heights and Donna (Alberto “Tico”) Rivera of Round Lake Heights; his step-children, Glenn King, Jason King and Carl Hargrove, all of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, Crystal and Josh Buchholtz of Elmwood Park, Tylor and Breanna Pflugradt of Round Lake Heights, Alexandria King of Galesburg and Corey, Melissa and Cody Hargrove of Huntsville, AL; and his siblings, George (Jeannette) Trayes of Chicago Ridge, Charles (Karen) Trayes of Tomahawk, WI, Jeffrey Trayes of Tinley Park, Janice Jordan of Chicago, Christine Meyers of Frankfort, Barbara Trayes of Tinley Park, Vicky (Audy) Olsen of Fredericksburg, VA and Sandy (Bill) Macey of Tinley Park.
Earl was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents; his siblings, Thomas J. Trayes, William “Billy” Trayes and Dorine E. Trayes; and his grandson, Cody Pflugradt.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 atStrang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030.
Interment will be privately held.
Friends of the family may visit from 2 p.m. until the time of Service at the funeral chapel.
