A Chicago man will face a charge of sexually abusing a 14-year-old Glenview girl after he turned himself in last week, authorities said.

David E. Richmond, 21, of the 6800 block of North Tonty Avenue has a hearing Tuesday in the Skokie courthouse.

He was charged Friday with aggravated criminal sexual abuse after turning himself in to Glenview police, authorities said.

Richmond is a student at Wright College in Chicago. The girl told her mother she was dating an older man, and the mother called authorities, police said.

Their association began in August when Richmond was 20 and the girl was 14, authorities said.

He is free on $100,000 bail.
