Gladys C. Adams, 89, of Chicago, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008.
She was an active member of the Episcopal Church.
Wife of the the late Rev. Leon B.G. Adams; mother of Sylvia Mary (Roger) Heider of Libertyville, IL, Angela Elizabeth Adams of Iowa City, IA and Anthony John (Oralee) Adams of Linden, NC; grandmother of Robert (Jennifer) Heider, Mark (Danielle) Heider, Rebecca (Ryan) Hackl, Brian Heider, Jonathan Adams, Capt.
Matthew Adams and Stephanie (Andrew) Lewis; great-grandmother of Lauren Hackl and Casey Heider.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Episcopal Relief and Development, P.O. Box 7058, Merrifield, VA 22116-7058.
No visitation.
Memorial Service 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 E. Westminster Rd., Lake Forest, IL. Interment private.
