Robert John Swanson, 67, of Wauconda, devoted husband of Mary, nee Bandemer; loving father of David, Christopher, the late Timothy and Kelli (Jimmy) Trejo; caring step-father of Jessica (Ian) Oleksy-Mapua; proud grandfather of Kara Swanson and Jimmy, Maya and Kya Trejo; brother, uncle and friend to many.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Stanley Swanson and his brother Roger.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept.
6, Transfiguration Church, 348 Mill St., Wauconda.
