A man was critically wounded Saturday after he was shot in the chest in a South Side parking lot, police said.
Police responded to a shooting on the 700 block of East 47th Street about 12:30 p.m., said police spokesman John Mirabelli. An unknown person walked up to the 18-year-old man and fired a shot, police said.
