Four people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the West Side tonight.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Chicago Avenue (map) in the South Austin neighborhood, police said.
Three people were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Stroger Hospital and another person was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, a fire department spokesman said.
Police remained on the scene at 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
No further details were immediately available.
