Traffic was normal again on northbound Lake Shore Drive near Oak Street after a multi-vehicle crash prompted police to divert vehicles to the Inner Drive, according to an alert from the city.
Ten people — four adults and six children — were taken from the scene via ambulance to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. All were in good or fair condition, a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department said.
