Chicago first lady Maggie Daley was released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital on Monday, a week after being admitted with flulike symptoms, her primary care physician said.
Daley, 67, has had a rough patch since she was hospitalized in mid-April to have a titanium rod in her leg replaced. After being released for that procedure, she has been readmitted twice with flulike symptoms, which doctors say is not related to the metastatic breast cancer she has battled since 2002.
