A United Express flight traveling from Chicago to Ottawa, Canada skidded off a runway this afternoon, officials said.
No injuries reported when United Express Flight 3363 went off the runway at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport at 3:29 p.m., according to Trans States Airlines, the operating carrier.
The 50-seat Embraer 145 aircraft was carrying 44 passengers and a crew of three people on the aircraft, officials said. The carrier noted that it is assisting the passengers.
Officials did not provide a reason for the incident but said the carrier will assist with a Transportation Safety Board of Canada investigation.
