The samurai sword-wielding man who halted traffic on an Indiana interstate was identified as a Cicero man, authorities said.

Indiana State police first spotted the man marching with a 35-inch samurai sword on Interstate 65 U.S. Highway 30 Sunday afternoon. The man was marching like a drum major, holding the sword, moving it up and down in rhythm with his marching cadence, state police said.

Once in custody, the man gave authorities different names and addresses, but told Lake County Jail officials that he was “Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.”

The man was later identified as Bryon Womack, 43 of Cicero, and is being held at Lake County Jail for charges of attempted carjacking, resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana.
