No. 1 Oak Park 3, East Aurora 3
The No. 1 Huskies (6-1-1) rallied from a 3-1 second-half deficit with two late goals to earn the tie. Senior forward Stephen Golz trimmed East Aurora’s lead to 3-2 and senior forward Ryan Huettel tied the game with 9 1/2 minutes to play. David Leitson also scored for the Huskies. East Aurora junior Abraham Kanneh (two goals) and senior Juan Luis Perez gave the Tomcats (5-2-1) a 3-1 lead to break open a 1-1 halftime tie.
Downers Grove North 5, Kelly 3
Cullen Cummings had three goals in the win for the Trojans (2-7-1). Downers Grove North led 4-2 at the half and also got goals from senior defender Hugo Pacheco and junior forward Byron Perez.
Washington 4, Streamwood 1
Washington (7-2-1) led wire to wire and benefited from two goals by senior midfielder Erick Carrasco (one in each half). Luis Vargas and freshman forward Jimmy Canedo also scored for the victors.
West Chicago 4, Mundelein 1
Three second-half goals by West Chicago broke open a 1-1 halftime deadlock. Furnishing the goals after intermission for the Wildcats (7-2-2) were senior Esteban Fernandez, junior Jesus Duran and senior Erick Baeza.
Bartlett 4, St. Joseph 2
Two goals from senior midfielder Anthony DiNuzzo paced the Hawks (3-2-1). They led 2-0 at the half, but the Chargers (5-4) tied the game 2-2 early in the second half. DiNuzzo’s second goal of the day gave Bartlett the lead for good, and Ramiro Arroyo scored on a free kick to provide insurance. Junior Matt Seidl also scored for Bartlett.
Lane 5, Willowbrook 0
The Indians (5-4) cruised to the win behind two goals from sophomore midfielder Jose Fuentes (one in each half). Lane led 2-0 at halftime.
Wheaton Warrenville South 4, Niles West 0
The Tigers (4-2-2) scored twice in each half to record the win. Striking before intermission were senior defenders Mike Kania and Will Huesing. Junior midfielder Max Carey scored both of his team’s second-half goals.
Glenbard South 3, Young 1
The Raiders (3-4) were led by junior midfielder Thomas Gkotse’s goal and two assists in the win. They led 2-0 at the half and scored first after intermission to stretch the lead to 3-0. Glenbard South’s other goals came from Krystian Gebis and junior forward Vlad Popov.
St. Viator 2, Mount Carmel 1
The Lions got a late goal from junior Andrew Ferrante, which broke open a 1-1 deadlock. St. Viator (3-2-2) also got a goal from junior midfielder Ashwin Cornelius to record the win over the Caravan (6-3).
Plainfield Central 2, Loyola 0
The Wildcats (4-4-1) got two goals from senior forward Jon Iniguez, and junior Tyler Badertscher recorded his second shutout of the year.
