A search of St. Charles North High School Thursday night did not turn up any weapons or ammunition and students returned to classes this morning, according to district officials.
The district searched the building and lockers and X-rayed backpacks after a staff member found a bullet in a common area Thursday morning. Students were dismissed for the afternoon, but had to leave backpacks behind.
“We did not find anything of concern,” St. Charles Unit District 303 Supt. Don Schlomann said this morning.
