Radio host Eric Ferguson, the of the popular “Eric and Kathy” morning show on WTMX FM-101.9, has paid a little more than $3 million for a newly built mansion in Hinsdale.
Ferguson, 45, bought the two-story, French country-style home from a homebuilder in August. Because the mansion never was publicly listed, information about it is scarce. The mansion was built on land that previously had held a four-bedroom home that was demolished.
Ferguson declined to comment on the transaction on Wednesday.
As Elite Street reported in August, Ferguson on July 31 sold his six-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot, brick and limestone mansion in Lincoln Park for $2.63 million.
Public records now reveal that the buyer of that home was noted University of Chicago Booth School of Business finance professor Toby Moskowitz.
