WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama on Tuesday withdrew two nominations to the National Labor Relations Board and offered two new names as part of a Senate deal to advance stalled nominations to vacant administration posts.
The president named Kent Hirozawa and Nancy Schiffer to five-year terms on the board, withdrawing the nominations of Sharon Block and Richard Griffin.
