The Daytime Emmy nominee, who was married to “The Good Wife’s”
and was the son of Broadway producer Chandler Cowles, was also a playwright and stage actor. He appeared on Broadway in revivals of “Sweet Bird of Youth” and “The Time of Your Life” and starred in the Edward Albee play “Malcolm,” which was based on the James Purdy novel. He also appeared in films “Nurse Betty,” “Shutter Island” and “The Juror.” His TV credits also include “Oz” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
