Ballmer, who has a reported net worth of $20 billion, is among several bidders for the Clippers and Shelly Sterling has received offers of between $1 billion and $2 billion, according to Forbes.

Donald Sterling bought the Clippers in 1981 for $12.5 million. The NBA filed charges to terminate Sterling’s ownership of the Clippers last week, and a hearing is set for June 3 at which the league’s board of governors are set to a vote on whether to oust Sterling.
