The following items were taken from Lake Zurich police reports.

In three different incidents on Aug. 5 at a business in the 700 block of Church Street, several wallets and individual items were stolen from purses while their owners were working. Among the items stolen were cash, earrings and credit cards. One of the credit cards stolen was later used in Elgin. One victim’s estimate of loss was $80, another’s was $930 and a third victim’s estimated loss was $70.

An iPhone and cash were stolen from a residence in the 200 block of West Main Street on Sept. 2. The estimated loss is $210.

An iPad and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of South Rand Road on Sept. 4. The estimated loss is $600.

A 34-year-old Wauconda man was arrested on Aug. 4 at 1:40 p.m. at a traffic stop in the 500 block of Oakwood Road. He was charged with speeding and driving without a valid license.

A 41-year-old Portage, Ind., man was arrested on Sept. 6 at 1:15 a.m. at a traffic stop in the 900 block of South Rand Road. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and using a cell phone while driving.

A 25-year-old Bristol, Wis., woman was arrested on Sept. 6 at 6:15 p.m. at a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Rand Road. She was charged with driving on a suspended license and driving on a suspended registration.

A 42-year-old Lake Zurich man was arrested on Sept. 6 at 11:02 p.m. during an investigation of a report of suspicious circumstances in the 0-99 block of Jean Terrace. He was served with a warrant from the Barrington Hills Police Department for failure to appear on traffic charges. He was unable to post bond and was turned over to officers from the Barrington Hills Police Department.

A 54-year-old Wheeling man was arrested on Sept. 7 at 12:32 a.m. at a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Rand Road. He was charged with DUI, DUI with a breath-alcohol count of more than .08, driving without insurance and improper lane usage.

A 41-year-old Chicago man was arrested on Sept. 7 at 11:32 p.m. at a traffic stop on Route 12 at Wooded Ridge Road. He was charged with driving on a revoked license, a felony, after charges were approved by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office. He was held at the Lake Zurich Police Department pending a bond hearing.
