I think the Bears need to run the ball more effectively than they have to this point. Forte is sixth in the NFL in rushing attempts with 111. He’s third in yards from scrimmage right now trailing only DeMarco Murray and Le’Veon Bell. Forte has 163 touches and that is second behind on Murray (209).

You are right, he’s getting the ball a lot and in a lot of cases it’s as a check-down target in the passing game. We’ll see if the Bears are a little better running the ball in the next few weeks. Murray’s numbers are very impressive thus far and the Bears will see a really talented offensive line when they host the Cowboys on Dec. 4.
