The following items were taken from Glenview police reports:
An estimated $80,000 in property was reported stolen Nov. 18 from a home in the 3500 block of Keenan Lane. The homeowner found the rear sliding door shattered and the house ransacked sometime between 9 a.m. and noon.
A cellphone account was opened Nov. 17 by someone using the credit card and identifying information of a resident in the 2000 block of Glenview Road. No other transactions were discovered and they suffered no loss.
Two unauthorized charges for $600 were fraudulently placed on the credit card of resident in the 2600 block of Glenview Road on Nov. 18. The bank will assume the loss.
An estimated $1,500 was reported stolen Nov. 18 from a home in the 3400 block of Keenan Lane. The rear sliding door had been shattered and the house ransacked sometime between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
A women who identified herself as an IRS agent called a resident in the 3200 block of Harrison Street on Nov. 18 and asked for the resident’s social security number and birth date, which they provided. There is no reported loss.
Cash totaling $300 was reported stolen Nov. 18 from a home in the 1200 block of Castle Drive.
A cellphone valued at $600 was reported stolen Nov. 19 from a student at Springman Middle School, 2701 Central Rd., between 5 and 6:15 p.m.
Someone claiming to be from the electric company called the employee of a business in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road on Nov. 14 and attempted to get the business to pay $998.23 for a new meter, which they were told they would be reimbursed for at a later date. The employee knew it was a scam and did not make a payment.
Jewelry valued at $250 and contained in a delivery package was reported stolen Nov. 20 from the front porch of a home in the 1500 block of Saratoga Lane.
A wallet was reported stolen Nov. 21 at 10:57 a.m. from a purse left unattended inside a business in the 500 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
A home computer was reported hacked Nov. 23 and access to various financial accounts was attempted to transfer money but each attempt was denied and all of the accounts have now been closed. The resident in the 600 block of Juniper Road suffered no financial loss.
Access to the bank accounts of a business in the 1700 block of Glenview Road was reported Nov. 24 and someone attempted to pay for several items, but the purchases were denied. The company suffered no loss.
A personal computer valued at $3,500 was reported stolen Nov. 24 between 4 and 7 p.m. from an office in the Glenview Park District’s Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave.
A 22-year-old Northlake woman was arrested Nov. 24 in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue and charged with unlawful possession of stolen checks.
A 59-year-old Glenview woman was arrested Nov. 24 in the 800 block of Juniper Road and charged with reckless driving.
A 50-year-old Glenview woman was arrested Nov. 25 and charged with DUI in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue.
A 60-year-old Wheeling woman was arrested Nov. 25 at Home Depot at The Glen, 2850 Patriot Blvd., and charged in connection with the employee theft of $4,500 in cash from various registers since April.
A 56-year-old woman was arrested Nov. 25 and charged with driving without a valid license and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash in the 2200 block of Pfingsten Road.
A 51-year-old Houston, Texas, man was arrested Nov. 26 and charged with DUI in the 100 block of Park Drive.
