Keep rattling those chains with your strong sermons, Mr. Rutter, but you’re preaching to the choir. Too bad those lunkheads downstate don’t get the message, but I seriously doubt whether they have made the transition to this century.
States should be fiscally responsible, but that doesn’t mean they should be managed like profit-seeking corporations while neglecting the people who put them in office.
To all the Ebenezer Scrooges downstate, I say, Humbug! And God bless the growing number of Bob Cratchits in this world.
