The following items were taken from Lake Zurich and Wauconda police reports:
Lake Zurich
A 21-year-old Lake Zurich man and two 19-year-old Lake Zurich men were arrested on Feb. 3 at 5:18 p.m. in the 800 block of South Rand Road. Each was charged with one count of retail theft, the total value of which was $118.26. The 21-year-old was arrested separately at the same time and place and charged with another retail theft, the value of which was $39.
On Feb. 3 at 4:10 p.m. in the 800 block of South Rand Road, a 51-year-old Barrington man was arrested and charged with retail theft estimated at 310.29.
An iPhone 5 was stolen from the 300 block of Church Street on Feb. 3, with an estimated value of $500.
A 28-year-old Wauconda man was stopped by police on Feb. 4 at 10:31 p.m. on Route 12 at June Terrace and charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield, driving without headlights, improper lane usage, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 27-year-old Stone Park woman was stopped by police on Feb. 6 at 12:19 a.m. at the scene of an accident on Route 12 at Pheasant Ridge and charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
A 21-year-old Palatine man was stopped by police on Feb. 7 at 4:40 a.m. in the 600 block of South Rand Road and charged with DUI and DUI with a blood-alcohol count over .08.
A 48-year-old Lake Zurich man was stopped by police on Feb. 8 at 7:16 p.m. in the 300 block of Surryse Road and charged with DUI, driving too fast for conditions, driving while using a cell phone and failure to notify the Secretary of State of a change of address.
Wauconda
A 22-year-old Antioch man and a 26-year-old Richmond man were drivers involved in a traffic crash on Jan. 28 at 6:20 a.m. on Bonner Road at Rand Road, with the Antioch driver being charged with failure to reduce speed and the Richmond driver being charged with driving without insurance.
A 20-year-old Round Lake man was in a crash on Jan. 28 at 9:20 a.m. on Gossell Road at Fairfield Road and was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and possession of drug paraphernalia. The crash involved minor injuries to one driver, who was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
A 23-year-old Round Lake man was involved in a traffic accident on Feb. 1 at 2:41 a.m. on Liberty Street at Rand Road and was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance.
A 28-year-old Wauconda woman was involved in a traffic accident on Feb. 1 at 1:28 p.m. in the 400 block of West Liberty Street and was cited with driving too fast for conditions.
A 47-year-old Snellville, Georgia, man was involved in a traffic accident on Feb. 2 at 12:01 p.m. on Bonner Road at Rand Road and was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
