A Blue Island man was fatally shot early Thursday on the Far South Side in the West Pullman neighborhood, officials said.
Jesse Diaz, 21, of the 12000 block of South Artesian Avenue in the South Suburb was pronounced dead about 4 a.m. at Roseland Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Diaz was shot on the 12000 block of South Prairie Avenue about 3:45 a.m., police said.
An autopsy conducted Friday determined that he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
