The White Sox halted their two-game losing streak, which came on the heels of seven straight victories, with an 8-2 victory over the Yankees on Saturday night at U.S. Cellular Field.

Jose Abreu pushed his hitting streak to 12 with a first-inning RBI double that hugged the third-base line and scored Adam Eaton, who extended his hitting streak to 10 with a leadoff single to right field. Alexei Ramirez had a solo home run in the second and an RBI double in the seventh. Melky Cabrera’s three-run home run topped a four-run Sox fifth.
