A worker was injured on a construction barge on the Chicago River at LaSalle Street and Wacker Drive on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. The worker was placed in a basket and lifted by a crane to the street, where an ambulance took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, fire officials said.
