Online registration is underway for the 10th annual Glencoe Grand Prix, scheduled for Saturday, June 4. The Grand Prix is a series of races through the heart of the village.
Those interested in signing up for one of the event’s 11 races can select the registration tab at the top of the screen at www.glencoegrandprix.com. Children and adults can participate.
The Glencoe Grand Prix is the seventh event this year in the USA CRITS Championship series, which is in its tenth year as a national bicycling race series, according to the website.
Some of the event’s proceeds will go to the Glencoe Educational Foundation, which supports projects within District 35 schools, according to race officials, and some funds will go to other education-based charitable endeavors.
A block party with music will be held in downtown Glencoe after the race, according to the event website.
