The grand opening of a professionally decorated model home is being celebrated at Easton Station, the luxury townhome community in a walkable location in Buffalo Grove.

David Weekley Homes invites visitors to tour the model as well as another home that is ready for an immediate move-in. In addition, residences are being readied for delivery at various times during the upcoming months to meet the timetables of a variety of buyer needs. In addition, special limited-time incentives are offered to those who act now.

Brisk pre-construction sales of 20 percent of the townhomes have already taken place as homebuyers discover the impressive advantages Easton Station provides. The elegant enclave of just 15 townhomes represents the only new construction in a desirable Buffalo Grove in-town location, and it is named for its proximity to the Prairie View Metra Station.

With two spacious floor plans, the community is attractive to professionals who commute by train and families with school-age children for its excellent school districts. These include Lincolnshire Prairie View District 103 and Stevenson District 125, with Stevenson High School, ranked among the top high schools in the State of Illinois. All of the schools are convenient to Easton Station, and students can walk to Stevenson High School.

Located at Easton Avenue and Half Day Road, Easton Station includes two- and three-story residences in six buildings, priced from the $430s. Commuter train service is just one-fourth mile away, and residents can also walk to shopping and other conveniences.

“Easton Station is ideal for professionals who want a walkable lifestyle and the best in architectural styling,” says Jim Esperson, Chicago Division president for David Weekley Homes. “These townhomes are intelligently designed for the way people live today, and the 10-foot ceilings, large windows and high-quality finishes create a luxurious living environment. In addition, the townhomes offer a low-maintenance lifestyle, with exterior maintenance handled by an association.”

The pair of floor plans include a two-story and three-story design, with two to four bedrooms and a study, 2.5 to four baths, deep pour basement and two-car attached garage.

The model home features the Kinney design, a home with 2,071 square feet, with a covered porch, gracious open living area including a light, airy family room, dining room with box bay window and well-appointed kitchen with curved island and breakfast bar. A powder room and patio complete the first floor.

Upstairs, the master suite has a spacious walk-in closet and luxurious bath with soaker tub and tiled shower. A second-floor laundry adds convenience, and spacious basements are included in the homes. The model home showcases a finished basement which adds another 500 square feet of living space.

Luxurious included features are 10-foot first-floor ceilings and 9-foot second and third-floor ceilings, hardwood floors in the entry, kitchen, breakfast room and powder room per plan, kitchens with pantries and Shaker-style 42-inch white, grey or expresso birch cabinets with crown molding, granite countertops and islands with breakfast bars, Frigidaire Gallery stainless-steel appliances and luxurious master suites.
