Baby clothes, blankets, toys and useful accessories were piled high on tables at the Baby Shower held by Church Women United on April 2 at the Leader Shop, La Grange. The baby items will go to some 50 expectant area mothers currently served by the Community Nurse Health Center in La Grange where donations of new baby goods are always welcome. Women participating in the shower are an ecumenical group, with members from Advent Christian Church of the Highlands of LaGrange Highlands, St. James Lutheran Church of Western Sprins, First United Methodist of Western Springs and La Grange, Grace Episcopal Church of Hinsdale, the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs and La Grange, Lyonsville Church United Church of Christ, All Saints Episcopal Church, St. Cletus Church and Second Baptist Church, all of Western Springs.
