Former Chicago Bears linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer and his wife, Sharon, on June 20 sold their four-bedroom, cedar and stone-clad house in Winnetka for $1.325 million.

Hillenmeyer, 36, previously told Elite Street that he and his wife have relocated to his native Nashville, Tenn., to be closer to family. While playing for the Bears from 2003 until 2010, Hillenmeyer earned an MBA from Northwestern University. After suffering a career-ending injury, he now works in business and is the head of strategic partnerships for Strivr Labs, a firm that uses virtual reality to train individuals and boost performance.

Hillenmeyer and his wife took a loss on the Winnetka home, which they purchased in mid-2008 for $1.44 million. Built in 2001, the 3,528-square-foot house has 41/2 baths, 10-foot ceilings on the first floor and a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a large island that seats at least four, and custom cabinetry. Other features include a lower-level office, a family room with beamed ceilings, and fireplaces in the den and the formal living and dining rooms. Outside on the fenced property are a pergola, a bluestone patio and play area for children.

The Hillenmeyers first listed the house in March for $1.399 million and never reduced its asking price.

Listing agent Frank Capitanini declined to comment on the sale.
