Police are warning residents in the Back of the Yards neighborhood about two robberies in the area this month.
The robberies happened July 3 in the 700 block of West 51st Street and July 13 in the 5100 block of South Halsted Street, police said in a community alert.
In the cases, the robbers approach the victims and demand their property.
The offenders are described as black men, between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 5, bald and 150 to 165 pounds.
