East Aurora High School will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open its new stadium Sept. 8.
The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. just prior to the first home varsity football game, scheduled at 7 p.m. vs. West Aurora High School.
The ribbon-cutting will include the District 131 Board of Education, students from East High, as well as students from schools throughout the district.
Tickets are available by emailing East High Athletic Director Ben Williams at bwilliams01@d131.org. Tickets ordered will be placed at the box office inside door 15 for pick up the following day. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children.
