Former basketball standout Jamie Johnson, a Marian Catholic graduate and Lewis’ career scoring leader, was named a Top 30 honoree for the 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year award. … St. Francis’ Brian Blaylock (men’s cross country) and Trinity Christian’s Megan DeWeerd (women’s cross country) were named athletes of the week in the CCAC. Blaylock also was honored by the NAIA.
