Here’s another spin on the news and no, it isn’t fake. Here’s a big “thank you” and a round of applause to the minister who helped an old lady and her daughter deflate slightly used and new rear tires on a car. I wasn’t sure how to deflate or take air out of the tire and he came to my rescue. I just want to say, “thank you.” See, world, there is everyday kindness that makes for great news. If I could use emoticons, it would be a smiley face and a heart.
What is wrong with these Chicago White Sox managers that they leave these pitchers in for multiple runs? That is inexcusable. . . Trade the manager.

Local government and taxpayers point a finger at school districts, blaming them for the bulk of high property tax bills. They do carry a huge chuck of our tax bills, but, in their defense, they continue to be issued mandates for services they must provide without funding from the state. How many of us have ever attended a school board meeting, can name any board members, or have questioned anyone in Springfield, about school funding or spending?

In reference to Joe from Alsip having a problem with the salaries of pro athletes: do you have a problem with the cost of a $125 ticket to go see a concert? What about when a actor or actress make a movie and they make $20 million dollars? If Anthony Rizzo isn’t making $6 million a year, it means the Ricketts family is making an extra $6 million dollars a year. I’ll let you know when these entertainers all agree to regress on their salaries so you can come back and get a 35 cent pop and 75 cent hot dog.
