River Forest District 90 has announced the launch of a new online dashboard that will present student, staff and school data to families living within the district.
According to administrators, the new dashboard represents “broadening our efforts to provide transparent and open communication about our schools,” according to a district release.
Visitors to the dashboard can access student achievement information, financial data, demographics and other facts and figures about District 90. Also included is information about the district’s five-year strategic plan, which guides all of the district’s efforts to support student development.
On its homepage, visitors can watch a short video explaining various district initiatives and curricula.
Under its indicators tab, the dashboard gives an overview of data for the district’s learning environment, student success, finances, communications and operations. The strategy tab contains updated information on the progress made on the strategic plan’s goals, objectives and strategies.
Officials said this is the first year such data is being made available in this fashion, and it will continue to be refined and updated over time.
