Homecoming celebrations continued Friday night with the varsity Hawks shutting out Evanston 41-0 on the football field and Head Coach David Inserra marking his 200th win.

On Saturday morning, Maine South student clubs, performers and the homecoming court marched through the streets of Park Ridge in the annual homecoming parade.

Awards were also given out to student clubs for decorating the school’s front windows in time for homecoming. The Humble to One (H2O) Christian Club took first place in window decorating, while the Graphic Arts Club took 2nd place and Art Club took 3rd place, said Brian Fee, student council co-sponsor.

The door decorating award went to the Special Education Department, he said.
