A four-vehicle accident Monday on 159th Street at the Orland Park and Orland Hills border shut down the heavily traveled road.

Police responded Monday afternoon to a multivehicle accident on 159th Street between 91st and 88th avenues on the border of Orland Park and Orland Hills.
Two people were taken to area hospitals, according to the Orland Fire Protection District.
The accident appeared to involve four vehicles, including a large box truck, pickup truck, minivan and a sedan.
Police from both suburbs had a section of heavily traveled 159th blocked to all traffic, and said it would be closed for several hours.
