Listening to Ted Cruz give speeches while supposedly questioning Ketanji Brown Jackson is too much to bear. The hypocrisy is seeping through his pores all over his face. He interrupted her, didn’t allow her to answer and asked the same questions over and over. Where was this man when Brett Kavanaugh was accused of sexual harassment? Didn’t hear him whining about that but he can’t let go about what he’s thinking is under sentencing of people accused of child pornography. This is a bunch of hypocrisy.

When Sen. Lindsey Graham asked Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson whether her faith was important to her, he showed what a phony he is. The only reason he asked is he knows she’s a Christian and he is too and he wanted her to confirm it. If she were a Hindu or a Muslim or even an atheist, would that imbecile have dared asked the same question. No, he would have brutalized her for not being a Christian because that’s the way people on the believing side of the ledger always do it.

Ted Slowik says police should treat people with respect. Grow up. In their job people they deal with have no respect for anyone, that’s the problem. Let them do their job. Don’t fall for the people who think they’re all innocent of anything.

March Madness is a special time for basketball fans. College schools showing the country what desire and teamwork is all about. It’s not like the NBA, which goes through the motions for three quarters, trading baskets and making the game close, making sure the superstar gets their points. NBA is money, that’s their goal. College is school pride.

Adam Kinzinger stated he would be interested in running for president in 2024. Unfortunately he’s going to have to quit his other full-time job which is cutting Nancy Pelosi’s lawn.

Life is just a bowl of cherries. Let’s enjoy each day because tomorrow is not promised. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia and now Russia seeking help from China is not pretty picture. If we put sanctions on China you can almost kiss the cost of living goodbye because we import so much from China. With the cost of gas going up along with food and other goods, we have nothing else to give. Putin is not going to raise a white flag because this would mean he’s weak. What we need is hope this conflict will end soon.

So now we hear from Jussie Smollett’s brother and sister blaming the public, the state, the city, the courts, the police and the state’s attorneys office. They don’t blame Smollett, but where were they when he committed this hoax? Why didn’t they stop him, or are we’re they too concerned about when he was going to give them their allowance? Smollett is the one that lied and committed the hoax but his family can’t take or assume responsibility at all. I just say go away Jussie, and take your family with you because you have caused enough damage.

Will Thomas, the former male Penn State swimmer now transitioned to Lia Thomas, a female, is an outright fraud in women’s sports. This is so terribly wrong on so many levels and how did this get out of control? I feel so sorry for the competitive efforts of women who are defeated in an unfair battle. Where is the federal Title IX protection for the girls?

There is so much talk these days about inflation and a lot of finger pointing. Basic economics, as was once taught in our colleges and universities, clearly explained the root cause is too much money chasing too few goods. When you dole out money by the bushelful and diminish the goods being produced, inflation is inevitable. Geopolitical issues exacerbate certain commodity price spikes, but in general inflation will not be transitory until the supply of money and goods is brought more into balance.

What did we expect? Putin’s a small ex-KGB man, with a small brain and small feet, according to Trump, with a big chip on his shoulder.

To the Speak Out readers who drop and use the word impeachment at will, you really need to learn to use Google and look up how the process works. The impeachment process is enacted by the House of Representatives and the grounds being treason, bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors, per the Constitution. Trump was close on all three counts. P.S. the vice president would then become president.

Lack of respect has become all too commonplace. I am an independent and find both parties equally guilty of dragging our country, in differing ways, deeper through the muck. It’s funny, but not humorous that our leaders continually fail to present us with candidates that appeal to a wider array of voters. The status quo stinks for the average voter. Until more of the apathetic nonvoters decide to open their minds and change their attitudes and exercise their right to vote we can only expect to be pulled deeper into the abyss.

After six years, the so-called mainstream media finally admitted that the information on Hunter Biden’s computer was not Russia propaganda. Is it too late to undo the tremendous damage done to our country? The propaganda was put out by our own biased leftist media. It will take a very long time before anyone believes anything our government tells us. The corruption is rampant.

I’d like to thank the letter writer for pointing out the destruction of America by President Biden. I wouldn’t have realized it given increasing jobs reports, a growing economy and the president’s efforts in uniting NATO and nearly the entire world against President Trump’s pal Vladimir Putin. Some only see the glass as half empty.
