The following items were taken from Highland Park police department reports, news releases and records. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
DUI
Ruben A. Delgadillo, 23, of Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, speeding in a construction zone, unlawful possession of cannabis as a driver, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle May 28. Delgadillo was stopped for driving 115 mph in a 40-mph zone on Skokie Valley Road. Police determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court July 1 in Waukegan.
BATTERY
Jordan A. Wexler, 40, of the 1600 block of Huntington Lane in Highland Park, was charged with felony aggravated battery to a pregnant woman or physically handicapped person and domestic battery June 1. He was arrested after police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1600 block of Huntington Lane. He was transported to the Lake County jail for a bond hearing.
Michael P. Kramer, 49, of the 1900 block of Sunset Road in Highland Park, was charged with domestic battery May 30. He was arrested after police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1900 block of Sunset Road. He is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court June 9 in Waukegan.
INVALID LICENSE
Periconne K. Walker, 20, of the 1400 block of Cypress Avenue in North Chicago, was charged with driving with an invalid license, illegal transportation of alcohol, consumption or possession of alcohol by a minor, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding May 28. He was stopped near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Park Avenue West. He is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court June 22 in Park City.
BURGLARY
Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 1800 block of Watercress Way May 23 and discovered someone had forced entry into the home by breaking a window with a brick in the rear of the building. It is unknown if any items were taken.
Police received a report May 23 an unknown individual forced entry into a business in the 1800 block of Second Street by cutting through a vinyl exterior awning. Alcohol and a cash register were taken.
Someone entered a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of Sunset Road May 28 and stole a wallet. Credit cards were used fraudulently at area merchants. It is not known if the vehicle was locked.
THEFT
Two men exited a vehicle in the 1900 block of Green Bay Road and stole a catalytic converter from another vehicle parked in the immediate area May 23. The estimated loss is $580.
A resident in the 400 block of Orchard Lane reported a package delivered to a home there was taken May 25.
An unknown individual stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in a lot in the 1900 block of First Street between May 20 and May 24.
