Bigger worries ahead? Assuming Nostradamus is correct and 2023 will see the beginning of World War III, maybe we shouldn’t be overly concerned with the Bears losing nine in a row?
Comparisons don’t help: I keep reading that Gov. J.B. Pritzker is absolutely horrible, a crook, a cheater, a clown. Then there’s President Joe Biden, another loser. You can say it over and over and over and it still doesn’t make Donald Trump look good in comparison.
Deceptive names: Both parties use deceiving names when introducing bills. Remember the Patriot Act introduced during the George W. Bush administration? It allowed government to unknowingly surveil American citizens!
Hurrah for failure: I for one am glad to see these Hollywood movies tanking. It is about time these so-called celebrities get a realty check.
Questionable win: 2023 has finally arrived and here are the sobering facts. Finland is the happiest. Spain is the healthiest. Iceland is the safest. New Zealand is the freest. But not to worry, the U.S. is the wealthiest and has the most military might, so we win! Yay!
Corruption deserves punishment: I have no tolerance for any politicians who are corrupt in office. Democrats and Republicans, they both need to be brought before the bar of justice. We miss an important point by focusing on a governor, state house speaker and an alderman. Trump committed treason against our beloved country by conceiving, fomenting and stage-managing and attempted coup d’etat against the legitimate government.
Good luck fixing this: The Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks are two teams that are unfixable. Both teams need too many replacements. Each team could have the first 10 picks in the draft as still be futile. Expect a five-year delay to be competitive.
