First Lady Jill Biden’s planned Friday visit to Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso has been postponed until a later date, according to the White House.
Biden, a longtime community college educator, planned to highlight the college’s career-connected learning programs that build pathways for good-paying jobs, which has been a priority for the Biden-Harris Administration. She was scheduled to be accompanied by U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh and U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm.
An Ivy Tech statement said that the White House is looking for dates to reschedule Biden’s visit, but gave no reason for the postponement.
