DUI
Michael Shaw, 49, of the 4200 block of South Prairie Street in Chicago was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol while license suspended or revoked and driving an uninsured motor vehicle Feb. 11. He was arrested after a traffic stop near the intersection of Glenview and Waukegan roads. He was released on bond.
Richard Cuc of the 4600 block of W. Grace Street in Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Feb. 11. He was arrested after a police call for assistance to a motorist near the intersection of West Lake Avenue and Pfingsten Road. He was released on bond.
Terra L. Hoffman, 38, of the 500 block of Seminary Avenue in Park Ridge was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Feb. 12. She was arrested after an investigation of a traffic crash in the 1800 block of Monroe Avenue. She was released on bond.
Raanan Burg, 33, of the 1400 block of Hickory Street in Waukegan was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and violating the median strip Feb. 12. He was arrested following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on bond.
WARRANT APPREHENSION
Jasmine Keys, 33, of the 3500 block of Greenleaf Street in Park City was apprehended on an outstanding warring issued in Racine County, Wisconsin, Feb. 13 following the investigation of an incident in the 2200 block of Willow Road. She was held for a bond hearing.
Doris Nape-Jimenez, 21, of the 1100 block of Windbrooke Drive in Buffalo Grove was apprehended on a failure to appear warrant Feb. 15 at the Glenview Police Station. She was taken into custody following the investigation of a different police incident. She was released on bond.
BURGLARY
A Glenview resident reported an unknown individual or individuals smashed the rear passenger window of their vehicle and attempted to steal the vehicle by peeling the steering column while it was parked in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue between Feb. 6 and Feb. 7.
A resident in the 1500 block of Maple Lane reported an unknown individual or individuals entered their home through a rear living room window Feb. 7 and stole jewelry.
A Northbrook resident reported Feb. 11 an unknown individual or individuals entered a relative’s residence in the 2700 block of Virginia Lane, ransacked several rooms and stole items between Jan. 22 and Jan. 23.
Police responded to the alarm of a residence in the 3400 block of Springdale Avenue, discovered the front door opened and several rooms ransacked Feb. 13. It is not known what is missing.
THEFT
A customer at a business in the 1800 block of Glenview Road refused to pay a bill Feb. 10. The customer left without incident and was asked not to return.
A Mount Prospect resident reported an unknown individual or individuals cut the lock off their locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road stealing cash from a wallet Feb. 12.
FORGERY
A Glenview resident reported a check mailed from the Northbrook post office was cashed in a different amount by a different person Feb. 13.
A Glenview resident reported a check mailed from the Glenview post office was cashed in a different amount by a different person Feb. 13.
A Winnetka resident reported several checks mailed from the Glenview post office were intercepted and cashed to different names and different amounts Feb. 9.
