President Biden’s new budget adds funding for the border, adds increases to Medicare, a 25% tax on billionaires, increased police budgets, extend military family and VA funding and much more. He even said he would like republicans for their input. The republican house said that won’t pass any part of the bill no matter what’s proposed. My question is why would anyone vote for a republican?
No matter what you think of the controversial Washington, D.C., crime bill, you’ve got to laugh (or cry) seeing so many elected officials positively foaming at the mouth over the very idea that someone could commit a crime and not pay a heavy price for it. Some of those screeching the loudest are the same ones who were guilty of attempting to overturn the 2020 election, submitting rosters of fake electors, refusing to testify before the January 6th Commission, and, if they did, pleading the Fifth Amendment. Politicians are a special breed of liars and hypocrites.
She does not support the war in Ukraine “at all,” she has called the siege of the U.S. Capitol “a little riot” and has said that “joining the military is like throwing your life away.” On Wednesday morning, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy gave radical far right conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene the gavel to open Congress! The Republican party has sunk to a new low.
All you conservatives that blamed AOC for losing the Amazon headquarters need to apologize. Turns out they were just playing all American cities against each other and the WON. Construction has stopped and Amazon is laying off AOC was right!
If Social Security and Medicare is reduced, it needs to be reduced across the board. Tired of these fossils voting for idiots that do nothing. Grammy needs to get a job she is a freeloader!
Wait, you mean to tell me that the Capitol Police lead the QAnon Shaman guy around the Capitol like a tourist and made NO effort to stop or apprehend him? So, either the Capitol Police were a part of the “Insurrection,” or there was no insurrection. I wonder how many Democratic attorneys will be disbarred for willfully withholding these videos from all the defense attorneys who represented those jailed?
So no surprise that the super divider Tucker Carlson is trying to spin the narrative on Jan. 6 even in the midst of Fox being sued for knowingly spreading lies about the election. No words are sufficient to describe this guy and we can only hope this Dominion lawsuit sinks him and his garbage network back into the depths where it belongs.
At the rate the world currently consumes oil, it’s estimated that there is a little less than a 50-year supply remaining. That is not a long time, folks! What do the opponents of EVs think our children and grandchildren are going to do once the oil runs out? They are opposed to nearly any other source of energy, and of course figure that the oil will last for the rest of their lives, so who cares?
As I see it the Republicans have but two options concerning President Biden’s Medicare fix, approve it or show your own.
The Republican ‘weaponization’ hearings against Democrats are imploding in front of their faces. In short they are backfiring like a 20-year-old car with a bad engine! Republicans have said that Democrats used various federal and private agencies as a ‘weapon’ against them when they were in charge of congressional hearings. Republicans tried to use the Twitter platform as an example. Democrats exposed the Republican witness by pointing out he had made money off Twitter himself. In another case Republicans wanted to claim that Democrats have used woke activities to smear, discredit or in general harm conservatives. Republican committee members struggled to define ‘woke.’ I suspect these ‘weaponization’ hearings will end soon.
When does this Trump fetish end? To those who work for a living, he was the greatest president ever. For those avoiding a job, he was the worst president ever. For me, he is just a past president who saved me a bunch on my taxes and will try to his last breath to make a lot of improvements to the USA. I don’t think of the man anymore because we have too many new problems created since Trump left office.
