‘Rosemary with Ginger’
Chicago Street Theatre presents “Rosemary with Ginger” as a dinner theater experience 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays through April 2 in Valparaiso. A two-character stage drama served with the option of a home-cooked meal follows the lives of two sisters in the diner they have operated for two decades. Both humor and sentiment are featured on the menu in playwright Edward Allan Baker’s intimate family-themed stage story.
Laser Light Show
Iconic rock synced and paired with a light show is in the spotlight for three showings, 4:30, 6 and 7:30 p.m., on March 31 at Challenger Learning Center in Hammond. Tickets are $15. At 2300 173rd St. in the auditorium space. 219-989-3250; clcnwi.com.
Pink Floyd is celebrated for the 50th Anniversary of “Dark Side of the Moon” album with trivia, prizes and a laser show set to every note of the classic album. Some of the entertainment content and presentation might be too intense for young viewers and be advised of some explicit language.
Music and sips
Live music performances are paired with wine from 4 to 7 p.m. March 31 at Shady Creek Winery in Michigan City. Free with wine and food for purchase. At 2030 Tyron Road in the main pavilion. 219-874-9463; shadycreekwinery.com.
Shady Creek Winery launched in 2019 and now features a selection of more than 30 wine options showcased with the added atmosphere of live musical performances and food for purchase on Friday nights in a rustic lodge setting and ideal acoustics for both conversation and music appreciation.
