Burglary

A complainant reported at 10:08 p.m. April 3 that someone took his iPhone from his running, unlocked car on the 100 block of West Burlington Avenue. The phone was recovered and no loss reported.

Criminal damage

A resident on the 200 block of Sawyer Avenue reported at 9:36 a.m. April 1 that someone cut lights in their backyard. No suspects at this time, and no loss yet reported.

Deceptive practice

A resident on the 200 block of Ashland Avenue reported at 12:52 p.m. April 1 that someone fraudulently opened a credit card in his name. No loss reported.

Disorderly conduct

A resident on the 900 block of 8th Avenue reported at 12:20 p.m. April 5 that he had been receiving threatening messages from someone he had met online.

Criminal sexual assault

Tony E. Moton, 48, of the 1600 block of Forest Road, was charged on March 31 at the La Grange Park Police Station, 447 N. Catherine Ave., with two counts of criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 Felony.
