At 1:50 p.m. March 28, Western Springs Police assisted Chicago Police with the execution of a search warrant on the 3800 block of Woodlawn Ave, where several weapons and ammunition were seized and a male subject was taken into custody.
Criminal damage to property
A resident on the 4100 block of Gilbert Avenue reported at 9:56 p.m. March 28 that someone threw a rock through their front window. No financial loss yet reported.
Traffic violations
Raymundo Aleman-Cedillo, 57, of the 5100 block of West 30th Place, Cicero, was charged at 2:02 p.m. March 31 at Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road, with operating an uninsured vehicle, suspended registration for no insurance, and operating a vehicle without a license.
Retail theft
Management at Walgreen’s 4700 S. Willow Springs Rd. reported at 2:15 p.m. March 30 that three female subjects stole allergy medication and left without paying. Loss not reported.
Management at Mariano’s, 4700 S. Willow Springs Rd., reported at 8:33 p.m. March 27 that a female subject stole meat products and left without paying for it. Loss not reported.
