Four players from Bloom headline the first and second teams, while Stagg, St. Laurence and Brother Rice highlight the first and second teams.

First Team

Emmanuel Calixto, Eisenhower, senior, forward: Scored 35 goals to account for 67% of Cardinals’ offense. Repeat all-state, all-conference, all-area.

Ahmed Dhalai, Reavis, senior, forward: Scored 40 goals with eight assists as Rams won conference. Richards transfer finished with 107 career goals. Two-time player of the year in South Suburban Red. Repeat all-state, all-conference, all-area.

Kacper Dziubek, Stagg, senior, forward: Scored 14 goals and added five assists for sectional champions. Named team MVP. All-state. All-conference.

Johnny Esparza, St. Laurence, senior, midfielder: Finished with 18 goals and 22 assists as Vikings took third place in Class 2A. Honorable mention all-sectional. All-conference.

Antonio Ferreira, Marian Catholic, junior, forward: Poured in 37 goals and added 13 assists for Spartans. All-sectional, all-conference, repeat all-area.

Jose Flores, Stagg, senior, goalkeeper: Recorded 12 shutouts and 0.57 goals-against average. Shut down Bloom in sectional final. All-state, all-conference.

Jonathan Magana, Bloom, senior, forward: Daily Southtown Player of the Year scored 37 goals and added 12 assists. All-state, all-conference, repeat all-area.

David Martinez, Bloom, defender, senior: Led Blazing Trojans to 14 shutouts. Had five goals and four assists. All-sectional. All-conference.

Angelo Piech, Brother Rice, junior, midfielder: Finished with 11 goals and team-best 10 assists for league and sectional champs. All-state. All-conference.

Johnny Roussakis, Lincoln-Way Central, senior, midfielder: Defensive central midfielder had a goal and seven assists. All-state. All-conference.

Julian Zambrano, Brother Rice, junior, defender: Led Crusaders to 12 shutouts, plus league and sectional titles. Added seven goals and four assists. All-sectional. All-conference.

Second Team

Johnny Arvanetes, Andrew, senior, midfielder: Finished with eight goals and eight assists for Thunderbolts. All-state. All-conference.

Americo Castaneda, Mount Carmel, senior, forward: Scored 12 goals and added eight assists for Caravan. All-state. All-conference.

Tyler Chrisman, Lemont, junior midfielder: Had eight goals and eight assists. All-state. All-conference.

Lennon Flores, Oak Forest, junior, forward: Scored 17 goals and added three assists for Bengals. All-state. All-conference.

Angel Galvan, Bloom, senior, goalkeeper: Posted same number of shutouts as goals allowed with 13. Finished with 111 saves. All-sectional. All-conference.

Hubert Grele, Argo, junior, forward: Finished with 19 goals and 11 assists. All-sectional. All-conference.

Giovanni Melgoza, T.F. United, senior, midfielder: Tallied 22 goals and nine assists. Ended up with 47 career goals. South Suburban Blue’s player of the year. All-state. All-conference.

Israel Orozco, Thornton co-op, senior, defender: Two-way threat led Wildcats to seven shutouts. Scored 20 goals and added seven assists. All-sectional. All-conference.

Omar Ortiz, Bloom, junior, forward: Scored 25 goals and added 27 assists for dominant Blazing Trojans. Repeat all-state, all-conference, all-area.

Sebastian Talaga, Stagg, senior, defender: Totaled 12 shutouts as Chargers allowed only 16 goals in 23 games. Had four goals and five assists. All-sectional.

Logan Wilkins, Beecher, junior, midfielder: Poured in 33 goals and 37 assists. Has 94 goals and 54 assists for career. All-sectional, all-conference, repeat all-area.
